Today, I wanted to talk about how I earn $50 dollars (or more!) a month in Amazon gift cards using Swagbucks! My total time investment per week is about 3 hours. However, over half of that, I would be doing even without Swagbucks. During an average month, I can earn $50+ in gift cards (doing most of the tasks below) which adds up to about $600 per year. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a great Christmas to me!
Other gift cards include Kohls, PayPal, Steam, Target, Starbucks, iTunes, Hulu, Nike, Burger King, CVS, Wal-Mart, GameStop, Olive Garden, and much more! They come in denominations from $3 up to $500, depending on the retailer.
Daily, I do a few things.
- Daily Poll (1 SB)
- One (or more) Surveys (1 SB-100 SB each)
- Play SwagBucks TV on a mobile device (20 SB)
- Enter SwagCodes (2-3 SB each, several a day are released)
All of these tasks can be done from your smartphone or tablet through the Swagbucks and Swagbucks TV apps. (Available on iOS and Android)
SwagCodes can be found on the SwagBucks Facebook page, the Swagbucks Toolbar also gives notifications, as well as the Swagbucks app.
I have a page in my planner that has my daily task list with check offs for every day of the week, and Swagbucks is near the top!
You can earn up to 500 SB per day watching videos on your computer. However, this is more time intensive but would be good for stay-at-home parents and spouses, and would equate to a $5 gift card a day from just this.
Instead of just doing 1 survey a day, you can do as many as are available, and/or you qualify for. Many times, if you don’t qualify for a survey, you will still receive 1 SB for your time.
You can also earn Swagbucks by searching through the toolbar, or the website. These happen randomly and are of different values. The most I’ve ever gotten was 21 SB for one search.
These are my big Swagbucks earners!
- Shop through the Shop and Earn feature (on mobile and desktop site) (1400 SB on my last order)
- Print coupons (100-150 SB per week)
Swagbucks has teamed up with many online and brick-and-mortar retailers to offer Swagbucks back on purchases. Anytime I’m going to be making an online purchase or an in-store pickup purchase I click-through to the store from either the Swagbucks desktop site, mobile app, or activate Swagbucks back with the Swagbucks Toolbar.
Some of the promotions running currently are 7 SB per $1 spent at Wal-Mart. I used this recently to cut my shopping trip in half by ordering all the items I could on the Wal-mart site for in-store pickup today and then picking them up, grabbing the items I couldn’t order online, or had a coupon for, and then checking out. I spent $288 online (not including taxes) and I received over 1400 SB (almost $15 in gift cards) back, plus saved time and frustration in the store by not having to look for what I needed.
Other popular retailers offering Swagbucks back are Groupon (7 SB per $1), Tanga (3 SB back per $1), and Hotels.com (8 SB per $1). MyGiftCardsPlus.com gives you a varying amount between 1% and 8% of your gift card purchase back in Swagbucks.
Swagbucks has also teamed up with Coupons.com and offers 10 SB for each coupon printed and redeemed (it does take 6 weeks to show up on your account.) As far as I’ve been able to see, all coupons offered on Coupons.com are there, and you can print 2 times per computer, same as Coupons.com.
Each week, I go through and print out coupons that I know I will use, and most of the time I can find 10-15, which nets me 100-150 SB per week. I do recommend keeping track of how many you use per week as they don’t credit to your account for about 6 weeks, and if there is an error you’ll want to know about it so you can report it to the Swagbucks support team.
There are also online store coupon codes that can be used to earn SB per $1 spent. Currently, I see a coupon for 20% off on pools at Target, earning 2 SB per $1 spent. This changes frequently, so there’s no telling what kind of amazing deal you can find!
This spring, Swagbucks is offering a 300 SB for referrals, and as I understand it both the referring party and the person accepting the referral will earn the bonus! That’s a $3 Amazon card right off the bat!
Once you’re signed up you can refer your friends and family and earn the bonus, plus 10% of the Swagbucks they earn with no lifetime maximum! This can add up!
