Transcription can be a difficult field to break into as a beginner. Here I’m going to list some companies that do hire beginners if they pass some test/assessments.

TranscribeMe (requires Google Chrome to apply) I’ve heard $20 an audio hour, so the quicker you are (while still being accurate) means more money. Looks to always be taking applications.

Rev .40-.65 per audio minute. Paid weekly. Looks to always be taking applications.

TigerFish Does not share info on pay, pay frequency or method until after you’re hired. Looks to always be taking email applications.

Quicktate Mostly voicemail messages, hires newbies if they pay the skills test. Pay might be a bit low, however it will help on your resume when applying for jobs that require more experience. Looks to always be taking applications.

The information listed here is as correct as I could make it at the time of posting. All information is dependent upon the company and is subject to change at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure accuracy, but as always please do your due diligence to protect yourself and your information.
